PressX s.r.o. operates as a VASP-licensed cryptocurrency exchange registered in the Commercial Register kept by the Municipal Court in Prague (File No. C 414709). The platform is designed to serve both retail traders and institutional investors across the European Union, combining regulatory compliance with cryptocurrency trading infrastructure. The exchange offers spot trading with integrated digital wallet functionality, fiat on-ramps and off-ramps for currency conversion, and plans to expand into derivatives and payment solutions.
PRX has a fixed maximum supply of 200 million tokens with no mechanism for additional minting encoded in its smart contract. The initial distribution allocated 35% (70 million PRX) as circulating supply at launch, with the remaining 65% (130 million PRX) held in reserve for ecosystem development, strategic partnerships, liquidity provisions, and gradual release over time. This structure establishes predictable tokenomics with a predetermined finite supply that cannot be inflated.
The token provides several integrated utilities within the PressX platform. Holders receive tiered trading fee discounts based on their PRX balance, with larger holdings unlocking greater percentage reductions on every trade. PressX operates a quarterly buyback and burn program using a portion of exchange revenue to purchase PRX from the open market and permanently remove tokens from circulation. This deflationary mechanism reduces total supply over time, with all burn events transparently recorded on-chain with verifiable proof of burns. The program ties platform financial performance directly to token scarcity.
The PRX smart contract includes protective mechanisms for market stability. An anti-whale feature limits single transactions to 1.5% of total supply (3 million PRX maximum per transfer). Transfers exceeding 0.5% of supply (1 million PRX) trigger a 24-hour timelock delay before execution, providing advance notice of large token movements and preventing sudden market disruptions.
Platform security incorporates multi-signature cold storage for reserve tokens and customer assets, multi-party computation (MPC) technology for private key management, and real-time on-chain compliance monitoring to detect suspicious activity. The exchange operates under Czech trade licensing regulations as an obliged entity under Czech AML legislation and complies with European Union AML standards and MiCA transitional provisions.
