Kinesis silver (KAG) was launched by Kinesis. Founded in 2018, the Kinesis platform facilitates the exchange, management and monetary application of native physical gold and silver-based digital assets and cryptocurrency.
Kinesis’ strategic partner Allocated Bullion Exchange (ABX), a global institutional allocated precious metals exchange, facilitates the vaulting of all underlying physical gold and silver. **Can I redeem my silver?**
Every single ounce of silver underpinning KAG is available for redemption on the Kinesis platform. While other silver-backed digital currencies offer redemption, they often set very high minimum withdrawal limits, making redemption difficult for everyday investors. KAG holders, however, can redeem as little as 200 ounces of the underlying silver bullion their KAG is based on, with redemption costs among the lowest in the industry.

**Where can I buy KAG?**
Kinesis silver (KAG) can be purchased on the Kinesis platform and external crypto exchanges. It’s important to remember that only KAG held or traded on the Kinesis platform is instantly spendable and eligible for a monthly yield.
ERC-20 KAG is an Ethereum-based silver-backed digital asset issued by KMS Labs S.A., a company incorporated in Panama. Each ERC-20 KAG token represents a 1:1 claim on Kinesis KAG held in reserve by KMS Labs.
Kinesis KAG is the underlying digital silver instrument issued by Kinesis Cayman on the Kinesis blockchain (a Stellar fork) and is itself backed 1:1 by fully allocated physical silver bullion stored in insured third-party vaults by ABX's vault partners.
Holders of ERC-20 KAG can transfer their tokens to the Kinesis platform to access the broader Kinesis ecosystem, including yield distribution under the Kinesis fee-sharing structure and the Kinesis Virtual Card. Redemption of ERC-20 tokens for native Kinesis KAG (and ultimately physical silver) is subject to KMS Labs' terms and conditions and compliance onboarding requirements.
